Terms
The terms of using R7Check.

Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using R7Check you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms are between you and the company named at the foot of this page.
The service
R7Check hosts public product and brand pages, generates the QR codes that lead to them, renders print-ready artwork for shelf talkers, and reports how those codes are scanned.
One thing it does not do, and the name should not suggest otherwise: we do not verify the content of a document. When a brand uploads a certificate we store it and show it, unchanged, with the date it was published. We do not audit the issuer, confirm the document is genuine, or check that it says what the brand claims. What the platform attests is narrower and it is what the strip on every page says — that this page was published through R7Check by this brand on this date, and that the brand cannot restyle or remove that strip.
Accounts and brands
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
A brand may have several members with different roles. Whoever created the brand can add and remove people; anyone with access can see and edit that brand’s pages. Removing a person removes their access, not the content they made.
You must have the right to publish what you publish — the photographs, the documents, the product claims. Content that is unlawful, that impersonates another company, or that presents a document as something it is not may be taken down, and we will tell you why.
Payment and billing
The plan is billed monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe. Prices exclude VAT; where VAT applies it is added at checkout and shown on the invoice.
Changing plan mid-cycle is prorated by Stripe: you pay the difference for the time remaining. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the service running to the end of the period already paid for — we do not refund the unused part of a period, and we do not charge to cancel.
If a payment fails, the service continues for fourteen days while we retry and write to you. If it has not succeeded by then, published pages degrade — see the next clause — and nothing is deleted.
Your codes keep working
When a brand’s subscription ends, their QR codes keep resolving. A code printed on a shelf talker sits in a shop that neither the brand nor R7Check controls, and it stays there for months after anyone stops thinking about it — a code that suddenly leads nowhere is a broken product on a shelf, not an unpaid invoice.
So instead of dying, the page it points to degrades: it becomes the brand’s name, logo, and contact details on a small card, with R7Check’s own attribution underneath. The code never breaks, and payment can resume at any time to bring the full page back exactly as it was — nothing about the original page is deleted.
This describes the actual product behavior already built into the platform — final legal wording for this clause still needs confirmation from counsel before it replaces this paragraph.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from the cabinet. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where the law requires it. Except where the breach makes it impossible, we will give notice and a chance to put it right.
On closure, published pages go offline and your data is deleted within thirty days, apart from invoices we are required to keep. Ask before that window closes and we will export your content.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, and we do not warrant anything about the documents a brand publishes through it.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited — for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer.
Governing law
The contracting party, its registered address and company number, and the courts that hear a dispute are named here. They are the one thing in this document that cannot be drafted from the product — they come from the incorporation, and stating the wrong ones would be worse than stating none.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms — to reflect a change in the service, or in the law. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed.
For a change that materially affects you we will write to the address on your account at least thirty days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance. If you would rather not accept, you can close the account before then and we will refund the unused part of any period paid in advance — the one case where we do refund.
